ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Joshua James Taylor, and I want to share my journey with you. Creativity, to me, is a phenomenon that holds immense power. The ability to create at will is something I find truly transcendent. Art, in particular, has a unique ability to stir emotions and feelings within us. I'm deeply fascinated by how a simple piece of art can evoke such powerful emotions, whether it's sadness, joy, or fear.
My story begins in Everett, Washington, in 1993. From a young age, I've always had a keen eye for wonder in life, in people, and in art. My passion lies in creating that emotional connection and awe that one can experience when looking at a piece of art. This passion was nurtured during my upbringing in a foster home, where being oneself was encouraged, and striving to be the best version of oneself was a competitive endeavor. Whether in sports or hobbies, my three brothers, my sister, and I pushed each other to excel in what we loved doing.
As I delved into my studies, I accumulated a wealth of knowledge in technology, art, and networking. My journey with computers began with a deep understanding of their operations. I taught myself coding and learned how to harness the power of computers to create art. Along the way, I discovered my unique style and understood the dynamics between the artist and their audience. My studies led me to explore web development and design, python coding, javascript, publication design, UI design, and identity design. I drew inspiration from painters, sculptors, game artists, and musicians, adopting new techniques and skills to enhance my artistry.
In 2012, I graduated from high school, and in 2015, I proudly graduated with a 4.0 GPA in Computer Information Systems and Sciences, earning a spot on the dean's list. In 2017, I embarked on a collaborative venture with colleagues to establish an entertainment business. Our vision was to create a television show, and we put in tireless effort, crafting scripts, storyboards, animations, and a compelling plotline. Despite our dedication, the company did not see the success we had hoped for. In 2018, I decided to leave the company, seeking higher education and personal happiness, which I found when I married my best friend.
In 2021, I proudly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. Today, I reside in Las Vegas, Nevada, with my beautiful wife, continuing to pursue my dream of elevating my passion to create a better future for both myself and my family.
